Kyle Sharp

Kyle Sharp is a Glasgow based drummer specialising in Live Performance, Studio Recording, Remote Recording and Tuition.

He actively plays a mix of shows, tours and festivals across the UK and Europe and is currently drumming for Altered Images, Becky Sikasa, Cammy Barnes and Eriff. Where he will play a summer of shows and festivals alongside artists such as The Human League, and is set to play the iconic Glasgow Hydro Arena supporting Amy Macdonald.

Throughout his career he is proud to have also drummed for Scottish bands and artists such as Fatherson, ILI , Vanives, Be Charlotte, Cloth, The Vegan Leather, and more. He often finds himself filling multiple roles with the artists works with being a drummer, vocalist, and experienced in running playback/backing track rigs.

Kyle regularly plays on TV and Radio, and frequently performs on the BBC, most recently winning BBC ‘Scottish Act of The Year’ 2025 in the televised live final, and performing live on BBC Radio 4 ‘Loose Ends’ hosted by Clive Anderson. He has played festivals such as TRNSMT, Vilar De Mouros, The 80’s Calling, Latitude Fest, The Great Escape, POP Kulture, The Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party, C/O Pop, Belladrum, and many more.

When he is not playing live, he can be found recording with artists and producers, at studios across the country, or remotely from his Glasgow studio alongside the River Clyde. Most recently recording the drum parts for Becky Sikasa’s SAY Award Finalist album ‘The Writings And The Pictures And The Song’ and singles such as ‘I Don’t Have Words’ and ‘My Love Says It’s All Gonna Be Alright’.
